FirstPrinciples Foundation was established by Ildar Shar, who combines entrepreneurial experience in the tech industry with a lifelong curiosity about the nature of reality.

We believe artificial intelligence is already contributing to scientific exploration. Yet, many of the questions about its role in research remain open, and the people investigating them often lack dedicated support. As scientific challenges grow in complexity, we see an opportunity to help researchers experiment with new tools, methods, and approaches that may expand the boundaries of discovery.

Our goal is to support people and ideas exploring how AI can advance fundamental science.
